It is both an honour and a privilege to be the Head of Newquay Tretherras which is an inclusive happy family in which everyone matters and student/staff morale and aspiration is exceptionally high. We have recently been recognised nationally by OFSTED as OUTSTANDING and our report notes 16 areas of Outstanding practice throughout the school. All the other judgements (15) are rated Good. I believe that being happy at school is the key to success and NT is wholly committed to success for absolutely everyone. We believe passionately in empowering every student on an educational journey towards becoming a successful life-long learner. Tretherras is at the heart of the Newquay community and we aim to enrich its prosperity and success through providing innovative, creative learning facilities, experiences and opportunities for all. We want the young people of Newquay and their families to be equipped with the necessary knowledge, understanding and skills to realise their dreams, and shape their futures together.
